Hi guys, i want to know what is the difference between thesaurus and dictionary of synonyms?? Because someone told me thatthesaurus synonyms dictionary it was different
I think a dictionary of synonyms would be of words with synonymous meanings, i.e the exact same meaning, thesaurus synonyms dictionarywhereas a thesaurus would list words of a similar meaning e.g distraught for sad, even though distraught is more powerful.thesaurus synonyms dictionary
