I would recommend getting an HTML editor, if you don't already have one, so you don't have to do the coding yourself.
www.vtc.com is the way to go - 30$ per month onlive tutorials :)
also check out the website: www.code3design.com
I've been a web designer and coder for 12+ years (http://sizefactory.com)
I'd recommend learning writing basic html and css to start with, learn the building blocks then go out and use more advanced tools, but cover the basics. Check the http://www.w3schools.com/ site, it's amazing. Good luck
There are a good few WYSIWYG html editors availabout nowadays. You may wanna try CoffeeCup software. They're pretty easy for pick up and go.

Hi
You want to try NetObjects Fusion. Version 9 is a free download or available as a PC magazine givaway and it is very easy to learn. As you add pages to your web site the navigation buttons are put in automatically. The program has many web page templates and there are a lot more free ones on their site. You will find it in Computer Magazine CDs, Computer Shopper was doing it last month.
Its the easiest web making program I have seen for years; give it a try.

It's PERFECT if you want to learn website - not much more I can say really!

The concept behind XSitePro (XSite Pro) is very basic. The team behind XSitePro needed to create a software application that would allow users ranging from complete novices to seasoned professionals to create decent looking websites, quickly and easily. There was a clear gap in the market for an intuitative, almost 'clever' website design application. And boy did they create something good.
XSitePro (XSite Pro) offers an extremely well put together video training course when you first buy the software. This is crucial for those of us on the Internet who do not know how to design websites. It guides you through everything you will need to know and it is all explained simply and effectively. For the more experienced web designers out there, or for those who have a basic understanding of website design, the video tutorial can be skipped and replayed at another time. However, we recommend that the XSitePro video tutorial is a must for anyone using new software.
Another important thing to remember when considering whether to purchase XSitePro, is that aside from learning a new trade, you will never have to pay a web designer a cent ever again. It's so refreshing to produce your own websites, both quickly and easily, and to see them live - it's a rweb designewarding experience.
